Biotech CEO Vivek Ramaswamy is harnessing the power of social media to engage with a younger demographic of voters. Despite previously referring to the Chinese-owned TikTok as “digital fentanyl” due to concerns about Chinese espionage, he made history by becoming the inaugural Republican presidential candidate to join TikTok, and he now maintains an active presence on the platform.

In his inaugural video, Ramaswamy declared, “I’m now a part of TikTok. We’ll be here frequently. You can’t be a contender without participating – so, here we are.”

Within the same video, Ramaswamy underscored his motivation for creating the account, emphasizing his commitment to connecting with young voters. “I am deeply invested in addressing the concerns that impact not only millennials but also Gen-Z and all young citizens in our nation,” he affirmed.

So does that make Ramaswamy is a “digital fentanyl” dealer? Out on the campaign trail he spews how this app is “Chinese espionage” yet he has no issues using it to get votes. Typical political hypocrisy.
