The investigation centered around allegations of Senator Bob Menendez and his wife, Nadine Arslanian, receiving a luxury car, gold bars, and an apartment.

Both Menendez, aged 69, and his wife are now facing charges related to an alleged corrupt relationship with three New Jersey businessmen—Wael Hana, Jose Uribe, and Fred Daides.
