A party of 52 House Republicans has voted in favor of a resolution that would prevent President Joe Biden from reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) led a group of Republican members who warned that renewing the Iran Nuclear Deal will assist the Ayatollahs expand their nuclear program and develop a weapon of mass devastation.

Rep. Banks emphasized that the Iranian government backs terrorist organizations all over the Middle East. He noted that Iran had recently launched a missile attack on a US consulate in Iraq. Republicans also said Biden is dealing with terrorists who openly want to harm Americans and sending money to them.

Republicans pointed out that even if Biden is successful in reinstating the Iran deal, it will be terminated by the 47th President of the United States.
