Why Glenn Kirchner Left MSNBC

After 6.5 years as a legal analyst with NBC News and MSNBC, Glenn asked to be released from his contract. The MSNBC leadership was very gracious and supportive, and agreed to release him. This video explains why he decided to leave MSNBC and what he’ll be doing moving forward. He is now 100% independent in all of his legal analysis work, and he just launched on Substack, where you can find his columns, his posts and other work.

One of the key things that he said is he no longer wants to preach to the choir. He wants to talk to the other side. He wants to get outside the bubble because that’s where his voice needs to be heard.
