Trump Dismantles The Media

Donald Trump continues to aggressively change the way news covers him.  He only wants positive coverage and anything less means the outlet will be banned.

The Defense Department notified NPR, The New York Times, NBC News, and Politico last month that they had to vacate their workspaces in the Pentagon’s Correspondents’ Corridor. Shortly after, CNN, The Washington Post, The Hill, and The War Zone were also added to the list.

Their vacated spaces will be allocated to a rotating group of media outlets, primarily conservative-leaning, including the New York Post, One America News Network, and Breitbart News. Additionally, Bari Weiss’ startup, The Free Press, and HuffPost will be included in the rotation.

Like other dictator-run countries, Donald is putting a short leash on media outlets.  Any news organization that questions his actions will be prevented access to him, the administration and facilities.

Trump’s fragile ego is in overdrive and freedom of the press and the first amendment is paying for it.
