Liberal Podcast MeidasTouch Surges to Top Spot, Surpassing Joe Rogan

It’s becoming apparent the left-leaning media is growing fast and the independent media landscape has exploded after Donald Trump has taken office. It seems to be a reflection of where a large majority of Americans want.
The political podcast “MeidasTouch,” hosted by brothers Jordan, Ben, and Brett Meiselas, has achieved a remarkable milestone, reaching 57.9 million downloads and listens in the past month according to Podscribe analytics. This represents a dramatic 121% increase in listenership month-over-month.
The surge has propelled the left-leaning podcast ahead of longtime industry leader “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which recorded 47.8 million listens and downloads during the same period, placing it third in the rankings. Political commentator Candace Owens’ podcast secured the second position with 49.5 million downloads and listens.
For context, Podscribe’s metrics incorporate both traditional podcast metrics (downloads and listens) and YouTube views. On a per-episode basis, Rogan maintains strong numbers with 2.9 million downloads and listens per episode, compared to Owens’ 2.1 million and MeidasTouch’s 657,000.
The MeidasTouch podcast, known for its political commentary and analysis, has built a significant following through its coverage of current events and policy discussions. The show regularly features detailed analysis of political developments and policy initiatives, with the three Meiselas brothers offering their perspectives on various issues.
The podcast landscape continues to evolve, with political content drawing substantial audiences. This shift in rankings demonstrates the growing appetite for political commentary in the podcasting space, even as established shows like “The Joe Rogan Experience” maintain their significant influence in the medium.
