On Tuesday, Representative Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, submitted articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris. This move comes as Republicans intensify their criticism while Harris begins her presidential campaign.

The new filing builds upon previously introduced articles focusing on Harris’s immigration record, a key issue for GOP critics. Ogles has now added a second article, alleging that Harris concealed President Biden’s mental state, which he claims amounts to a “breach of public trust.”

The filing states, “Kamala Devi Harris has knowingly misled the American people and Congress, primarily to obscure President Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive condition.”

It’s worth noting that although Biden recently ended his reelection bid, he has affirmed his intention to complete his current term and maintains that he is in good health.
